Refitting coaches for hospital trains. Reconditioning a 1914-18 8-inch howitzer. Manufacturing 2-pounder guns and 2-inch rocket launchers. SR Home Guard manning Bofors gun. Supplies to Russia - building sections of railway wagons for assembly at destination.
Reel 2 (763 ft): Fitting out mobile workshops for army. Ramp wagons, bridgelayer tanks. Arrival of US locomotives for modification. Building invasion craft etc - assault boats, power boats, landing craft (LCPs etc).
Reel 3 (778 ft): Construction and transportation of landing craft (LCMs). Aerial torpedo tail fin manufacture. Entertainments at factory canteen. Bridging pontoons.
Reel 4 (663 ft): Glider manufacture (Horsa) - testing wood, making tail units, fitting skin and spars etc.
