Description: Armour - as seen here, Cromwell and Challenger tanks - belonging to the 'Desert Rats' armoured reconnaissance regiment, the 8th King's Royal Hussars, is guided over a Class 40 Bailey bridge laid across the Dives on the outskirts of St Pierre-sur-Dives where the old bridge was blown up by the Germans. A Cromwell ARV joins the rest of the Hussars 'C' squadron in its passage through the undamaged town during 131st Brigade's push towards Lisieux.
