Description: Reel 1 (897 ft): Shots of workers (mostly women) working on parts of Whitleys - wing sections, fuselage, small parts. Spray painting fuselage. Fitting cables, engine etc.
Reel 2 (979 ft): Young man helping with fixing of tail unit. Engine installation. Whitley flies over and lands. Testing turrets. Pilot boarding, shot of instruments. Whitley pushed out of hangar etc, take off. Testing wheel retraction. Further assembly scenes.

Remarks: In common with other factory films in the LMS collection, the workers are suspiciously well turned out - presumably for the camera - eg with white silk blouses and flowers arranged on work benches.
