Carriers of the East Surrey Regiment move forwards. 6 pounder anti-tank guns move forwards. An anti-tank gun moves slowly towards a Tunis signpost. The Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Infantry Companies pass the signpost. The 5th Medium Regiment, Royal Artillery leave their positions to move forwards with the advancing troops. Guns moving forwards at dusk through countryside.
13 April. 25 pounders firing near the Mateur road. Another 25 pounder passes the gun positions and goes over the bailey bridge. Infantry of the DCLI marching on the other side of the road.
14 April. The DCLI move up the crest of a hill to take up positions behind the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment. A battery of 25 pounders firing.
