The film shows the embarkation of missiles while in port, the loading of a sub Harpoon into one of HMS Churchill's torpedo tubes and one of a total of eight firings against the decommissioned Gearing Class destroyer USS Basilone (DD.824). The programming of the missiles and the environmental conditions experienced during the trials are described briefly.
