Summary: Unedited film of General Sir Edmund Allenby's arrival in Cairo following the Armistice with Turkey, November 1918.
Description: The film may be out of time-sequence. It shows General Allenby talking to senior officers (none identifiable) in Cairo. This is followed by a procession of cars through the streets of the city. Allenby's train arrives at Cairo station. He gets out and inspects an honour guard of Egyptian soldiers. The procession of cars arrives at Lunar Park. The film ends with a still shot of a model, composed of a wreath of the flags of all the Allies behind a cannon, and a Union Jack being hoisted, twice, to the top of a flagpole.
