Description: AYY 236/7. 29 June. 1st Recovery Section, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, working on tank recovery with the 4th Armoured Brigade, south of the Matruh Line. A disabled tank is reported to the Recovery Section. The recovery crew board a transporter and recover a Crusader tank from the battlefield under enemy bombing. The tank is finally secured to the transporter with cables and is taken to the Ordnance Workshop. Tank crew.
AYY 236/8. 29 June. An injured driver of a petrol transporter which has been hit by enemy bombs is helped out of his driver's cab.
AYY 236/9. 28 June. The 2nd Royal Horse Artillery firing 25 pounders at a German armoured column on the southern flank of the Matruh Line. Gun crew at the controls.
AYY 236/10. 1 July. German prisoners of the 90th Light Motorised Division being interrogated at El Alamein by the 4th Armoured Brigade prior to being sent to POW camps. One prisoner with the word "Sonderführer" on his sleeve is a special intelligence corps leader.
