Description: Major-General Douglas N Wimberley holds a conference with the 51st Highland Division in the Western Desert, prior to making a further push forward. He wears a Balmoral. Two thousand German prisoners in their own transport. Men of the 51st Highland Division after taking El Daba airfield. One looks at a German notice left on a large tent. Most of the stores were destroyed by the Germans. A destroyed Stuka. The column moving across the aerodrome. A sergeant examines the remains of a destroyed generator. Refuelling one of the first planes to land on El Daba airfield. This is done in a heavy rain storm. A sergeant examines a large bomb on a Tomahawk. El Daba railway station with British vehicles moving up in the background. Most of the rolling stock was destroyed by Allied barrage. Signals at "danger". Men of the Royal Engineers re-laying the pipeline which had been destroyed by the retreating enemy.
