Description: Lieutenant-Colonel J A Eadie, Commanding Officer of the Staffordshire Yeomanry (Queen's Own Royal Regiment) and Brigadier Custance Commanding the 8th Armoured Brigade greet General Montgomery, Eighth Army Commander. They explain the tactics of the battle exercise to him. Montgomery inspecting and enquiring of the experiences of the crew of Lieutenant-Colonel Eadie's tank. He talks to Lieutenant-Colonel R Hoare of the 5th Royal Horse Artillery. Montgomery standing with Lieutenant-Colonel Eadie on a General Grant tank watching the shoot. Montgomery, Eadie and Custance watch the anti-tank guns of the 65th Anti-Tank Regiment put up a barrage. Montgomery with Lieutenant-Colonel Hoare inspecting officers and men of the 5th Royal Horse Artillery. He talks to some of them about their experiences in recent campaigns.
