- Summary: The 56th Reconnaissance Regiment on a trip in no man's land on the Goubellat Plain, Tunisia to search farmhouses used by the enemy. The Regimental Aid Post (RAP) of the 5th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment, southwest of Goubellat. The 64th Anti-Tank Regiment get the new 17 pounder anti-tank guns and pass on their 6 pounders to the 5th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment, west of Medjez-El-Bab. The 150th Field Mobile Dental Unit, attached to the 11th Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps, at work southwest of Medjez-El-Bab.
- Description: 16 February. A sergeant with field glasses and a machine gunner lie in the cover of a cactus grove with a mosque in the background. Stretcher bearers bring in a casualty to the RAP. They lay the stretcher down. The medical sergeant examines the wound. A shell-dressing is applied. 20 February. Men of the 5th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment run to take posts at three 6 pounder guns during training by the Glasgow Yeomanry, 64th Anti-Tank Regiment. The 17 pounder gun position overlooking enemy territory. The warning is given and the gun detachment run to their positions. The Dental Officer, Captain Bryant (from Newmarket) examines his teeth, assisted by Corporal Gough (from Chippenham), both of the Army Dental Corps. A soldier arrives for treatment and the Dental Officer Captain Rushby (from Hampstead, London) examines him, assisted by Corporal Headell (from St Austell, Cornwall). A tooth is drilled; the drill is operated by a foot pedal. A Dental Officer tests the fit of a new denture.
