Description: Major-General R F E Whittaker talks to the group after their arrival about the working and management of the searchlight. Lieutenant-Colonel L S Davies of the 32nd Searchlight Regiment sparks to the party through a microphone. The searchlight in operation. Lieutenant-Colonel Davies speaks to Sir Robert Tasker MP about the searchlight mechanism. Major-General Whittaker and party come under the network of camouflage to examine the Command Post. He explains the workings of the predictor then leads the party to the underground workings. General Sir Frederick Pile chats with the women manning the rangefinder. They are Lance-Bombardier Johnson from Birmingham and Gunner White from Cleethorpes. Mrs Adamson, MP for Dartford also chats with Lance-Bombardier Johnson.
