- Description: 14 to 16 January. A tank officer works out a bearing on a map with a protractor and a sun compass on a jeep. Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant Lawrence leaves the stores tent with an armful of "comforts". A man receives a pullover, scarf and mittens. A line of men wait to receive the goods. Men receiving the comforts. A trooper reads Blighty magazine. Three soldiers trying on pullovers. A trooper with a bundle of home comforts under his arm and a magazine walks away from the camera. Tanks and transport entering the wadi. An Arab boy and a girl with a flock of goats stare at the transport. The girl with the convoy in the background. Trucks on the skyline.
