Description: Winston Churchill saluting and leaving the main square, standing in his car. He acknowledges the cheers of the troops. Churchill at lunch at 30 Corps HQ with Lieutenant-General Montgomery, Corps Commander Oliver Leese and Captain Randolph Churchill. After lunch he inspects German and Italian planes and British mine detectors. He inspects the 11th Hussars who constitute the escort, and the military police. He goes for a [handwriting] with General Leese, General Alexander, General Brooke and General Montgomery. This is followed by an inspection of the New Zealand Division who march past as the Prime Minister takes the salute.

The Prime Minister inspects the 7th Armoured Division with Montgomery. Churchill, Montgomery, the Corps Commander and General Freyberg on the saluting base. The parade marches past.
