Description: Units of the Highland Division drive past after passing the saluting base. A 25 pounder gun, motorised infantry and Vickers guns mounted on 15 cwt lorries. Infantry of the Highland Division march past en masse along the main road of Tripoli. The pipe band of the Highland Division march at the rear of the infantry. Churchill inspects 4.5-inch guns of the 64th Medium Royal Artillery Regiment. Churchill eats lunch in the open outside the town. With him are General Leese, Commander of 30 Corps; Captain Churchill, the Prime Minister's son; General Sir Alan Brooke, Brigadier Ray and General Montgomery. Churchill inspects German and Italian mines. He inspects mines and mine detectors of the South African Royal Engineers.
