Description: 4 February. The Prime Minister inspects Tripoli Harbour with General Alexander, General Montgomery and others. He goes aboard a launch which cruises around the harbour. He inspects damage to a Spanish Mole.
3 February. A plane touches down and the Prime Minister steps out and greets General Montgomery. They walk to the car and drive off. Churchill and Montgomery with the Chief of General Staff at Eighth Army HQ. Montgomery poses for a photograph outside the living quarters. Churchill enters Montgomery's caravan. Churchill gives a speech to Eighth Army personnel. Montgomery shouts for three cheers. Men listening to Churchill's speech and cheering.
4 February. After an introduction to members of the civilian population Churchill boards a naval launch at Tripoli Harbour. The launch returns and Randolph Churchill disembarks. Randolph Churchill reading the Tripoli Times. Winston returns in a smaller launch with Montgomery and others. He returns to the car where Randolph shows him the Tripoli Times. The crowd cheers as the car passes in the background. A guard.
