Description: The aircraft is first seen in a good air to air shot followed by shots of the machine flying over the airfield. In good ground shots, an airman inspects the aircraft. Seen from the rear port quarter the aircraft is inspected by four groundcrew as a pilot in battledress talks to one of them. A Junkers Ju 88 R is seen from the front in a mid shot and good close ups of the multi-gun nose After a glimpse of three P-38s flying over in formation the Bf 109 flies over. It taxies from its original position past the camera and takes off before being seen again over the airfield.

As at 22/6/1989 this machine is still in existence and undergoing total restoration to flying condition. As of 2014-02-03, this aircraft is now on static display at the RAF Museum at Hendon, having been restored again after being badly damaged in a landing accident at IWM Duxford in October 1997.
