Description: 15 February. Men of the 4th (?) Platoon, 1st Battalion, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry under the instruction of Captain T Medes of the 2nd Hertfordshire Regiment. The infantry section in attack. Men crawl along a ditch and take up positions to carry out a final assault. The section moves off after being given instructions by their leader. The section moves along the road under cover of the ledge. The scout spots the enemy and informs the section leader. The section leader beckons his second-in-command and gives him instructions. The section leader leads the assault party away. The assault party crawls up to position. Some of the party rolling down the railway embankment. The assault party walk along the railway lines out of sight of the enemy. The section leader instructs his men in what to do if they come under fire. The final assault is carried out.
16 February. On Leadership Course 1, a section of men run across open ground after clearing a barbed wire entanglement. An explosion occurs in front of them. Men caught in the barbed wire. Men running after the explosion. The section goes over a wall in front of a river. Men entering the water. Two men hold a rope to help some of the section across the river.
17 February. On Leadership Course II, a section of men advance from the corner of a wood and come out of a smokescreen. The section run up to a tank trap, some jump into the water and are caught in barbed wire. A section advances under cover of a smokescreen and through a double apron fence. A section comes up to the water jump, most of the men land in the water. An explosion occurs in front of the men. A man stuck in the mud is assisted by his companion with a rifle. The man crawls up the bank, covered with mud.
