Description: Troops being relieved from the front on their way to the post office, still wearing battle dress. Corporal William James Harrison from 16 Prince Consort Cottages, Windsor, Berkshire asks the post sergeant for an EFM telegram form and card. He writes his message, shown in telegraph form. He hands over the completed form and money to the post sergeant and walks away. The next man in the queue takes his place. A jeep arrives at the Army Post Office truck taking letters and telegrams to the rear link.
