Summary: Two troops of a British hussar regiment in the rear areas of the Western Front, autumn 1917.
Description: The men dismount in front of a farmhouse, standing by their horses with their rifles. They then come to attention and remount with their rifles. They move off, closing up formation into column of fours. They take their horses through a stream beside a bridge, emerging to break into a trot. A second troop also passes through the stream, emerging in column of twos. The two troops trot on along a cobbled road in column of fours.
