Description: I. Exercise Pineapple: Kenyan and British soldiers of 33 Engineer Regiment EOD give instructions (in Swahili) to civilians who are helping to search for unexploded ordnance. The civilians form into a line and slowly advance; British soldier explains what is happening. Unexploded 105mm shell is found. Interviews with Corporal Philip Johnnys (?) and Lance Corporal Stephen Woolley (?) (latter is Kenyan). Shots of the School of Combat Engineering near Isiolo. Cattle in the bush, including zebus. Interview with Alexander, Samburu tribesman from Archer's Post (in English).
II. Exercise Sharp Point: scenes at the Girgir Primary School, Archer's Post. British medics hold surgeries for local children and their parents, tending to minor ailments and also carrying out dentistry. Veterinary surgeon inspects a goat.
