Description: I. The King and Queen tour the Sutton War Seeds works, and then the Huntley and Palmers biscuits works, watching as girls perform most of the tasks in both.
II. Various soldiers come up to receive their decorations. Also receiving a medal is the wife of Lieutenant-Colonel R L Beasley, collecting his DSO. With Mrs Beasley is her small son, who shakes hands with and then salutes the King, then repeats the ceremony with the Queen, who is standing beside him.
III. As British soldiers and French civilians watch, the Chinese hold a procession through the village, including a paper dragon and stilt walkers.
