Summary: Members of Tayforth UOTC (University Officer Training Corps) assist in water construction projects in Uganda.
Description: I. Introductory pieces to camera by Isla Mackintosh, reporter for Grampian Television, at well construction site. UOTC students help construct well and water storage tank in small village: they sing "Flower of Scotland" as they mix cement. Interviews with UOTC Cadets Sally Macdonald, Steven Jones and Jennifer Stewart about the local conditions and about their work.
II. Scenes at local school/university: UOTC cadets help local students with computer training and assist in the library. Students assemble in school grounds and sing for their UOTC guests (songs include Ugandan national anthem, school song and "When the Saints Go Marching In").
III. Shot of water snake swimming in the river Nile: stones are thrown at it (fortunately, none are direct hits).
IV. Party with local people at the UOTC camp: dancing and singing.
