Description: Ground crews watch the skies. At dispersal aircrews lounge and drink tea. An air to ground long shot of the raiding force at sea followed by a similar with a Boston in the foreground and the shadow of a Boston on the sea below is good sequence. Miscellaneous shots are followed by repeats of scenes from earlier reels. Spitfires of 118 Squadron are shown lining up for take off and NK*Q is seen in long shot with its nose in the ground. Crash Tenders move in to assist. On the airfield perimeter an airman in a prepared gun position quarters the sky with his twin Lewis guns. Spitfires and Hurricanes of 41 and 43 Squadrons taxi and take off.
