Description: Film shows: warships at sea (soldiers sling hammocks, exercise with Bren gun) - the landing, against little opposition - the establishment of a temporary HQ, where the Norwegian Flag is hoisted - the demolition by Sappers of refinery plant and the destruction of refined oil - the rounding up of collaborators and Germans for interrogation - the sending of a jaunty "where were you" telegram to Hitler (brief insert captured film) - the distribution of food to local citizens who are offered the chance of joining the allies - soldiers, prisoners and new recruits return to the ships.
