Description: The teams come out into the crowded stadium. Admiral Sims presents the ball and throws in the first ball, after which the game starts to the cheers of the crowd.
The Iris steams towards the camera into harbour. Its crew disembarks and bullet holes in the superstructure and funnel are checked. The captain, Lieutenant John D Campbell (?) is shown in portrait shot. A pan over the Daffodil coming into harbour.
The burnt-out wreckage of the plane lies beside a railway embankment, and is guarded by RAF and WRAF personnel, and by the police.
