Summary: Four teams of army medics in combat gear practising the evacuation of wounded from a downed helicopter (represented by the shell of a Westland Wessex). Casualties are removed to a safe distance for treatment. Injuries include a broken leg, unconsciousness and a possible spinal fracture (stretcher with backboard used). One of the casualties is placed in the recovery position, another (a specialised dummy) is given CPR. After each exercise, the teams are debriefed by a senior medic.
