Summary: Unedited scenes on open air pistol shooting range. Troops in casual civilian clothes, and wearing ear protectors, advance across scrub towards the "enemy" (pop-up targets), using low walls and piles of sandbags for cover. Later scenes are on a dedicated PPW range, an extremely basic outdoor street made of wooden flats with doors, cut-out car shapes and small "brick" walls used for cover. Soldiers enter through doors and fire against pop-up targets at the far end of the range as instructors monitor their progress. The operator of the pop-up targets (with large remote control device strapped before him) can also be seen.
