Summary: Unedited film of infantry battle and house to house fighting. Royal Irish Rangers (RIR) in defensive positions firing on troops of the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire (PWO). RIR non-commissioned officer shouts orders to engage with rapid fire. RIR attack over open ground and move in to the town of Fremke. PWO troops in a Supacat six wheeled vehicle report on the progress of the battle via field telephone. PWO attack over open fields while the RIR return fire. RIR troops in a slit trench load magazines. Three PWO soldiers caught in ambush in the town resulting in one being "killed". Interview with RIR NCOs on their role in the battle, how long they have been there and lessons learned from the exercise.
