II. Mrs Thatcher and Herr Kohl meet soldiers from the Royal Hussars serving in West Germany; the soldiers are accompanied by their wives.
III. Firepower demonstration on the ranges at Hohne by British Mark 1 Challenger main battle tanks, West German Leopard main battle tanks, British Army Lynx attack helicopters and Harrier jets.
