Summary: Unedited films of the disbandment parade of RAF Germany attended by Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
Description: I. RAF personnel marching onto the parade ground in front of the Joint Headquarters building and standing to attention. Senior RAF and Army personnel watch from the grandstand. Prince Philip arrives and takes the Royal salute as four Harriers and four Tornados fly overhead in formation. The Prince inspects the assembled airmen and women. The Prince gives a speech about the good relations that have been built up between the RAF and the German people in the years that the British have been in Germany.
II. Prince Philip giving a speech to assembled RAF personnel. RAF Regiment soldiers and airmen march off the parade square as Chinook and Puma helicopters fly overhead. The Prince is accompanied by officers into the Headquarters building. Germany Army, British Army, RAF and civilian dignitaries meet the Prince. He speaks to RAF families and leaves by car.
