Summary: Unedited video with graphic images of Kosovar Albanian refugees in a forced migration from Kosovo to Albania taken by the Royal Military Police (158 Provost Company). Also footage of damage from fighting which occured during acts of 'ethnic cleansing'. Shots of refugee camps set up to cope with the practical problems of a massive displaced population.
Description: I. Wreckage of a plane crash in a field from the air. Crash site from the ground and associated damage of a nearby wall. Large refugee camp with its inhabitants viewed from the road and inside the camp, including tent interiors. Many rows of white canvas tents housing individual families. Aerial view of two camps on the outskirts of a small (unspecified) settlement. Helicopter that recorded footage returns to a landing area in a field.
II. Temporary Army camp, a basic set up in a muddy field in a valley. Shows conversation between British and American troops in mess area.
III. Royal Military Police erecting a mine warning sign on a checkpoint to a road route. A continual flow of Kosovar Albanian refugees passes through the checkpoint in vehicles and on foot. Families carry as many of their possessions as possible. Thousands of similar refugees follow a road route away from the checkpoint, walking or driving agricultural vehicles, carrying personal possessions. Return to aircraft crash site with British military personnel examining wreckage on the ground. Little of the wreckage remains intact, only the tail showing number 256 and part of the left wing.
V. Two murdered males, victims of ethnic cleansing. Gruesome firearm injuries to parts of their bodies and heads, one on the roadside, one inside a small rural building.
VI. Dead animals (cattle and horse or mule) shown on roadside in similar agricultural area, alongside the road.
VII. Live wounded victim lying in a house with leg and chest wounds.
VIII. Views of refugees moving families and possessions in rural vehicles or on foot.
IX. A number of wounded men together in a rural house with very basic conditions. In need of further treatment. Range of leg wounds shown.
X. Images of another murdered male, lying on the ground.
