Description: I. Shots from bridge onto HMS Ocean's deck during a fierce thunderstorm: helicopters on deck are lashed with rain and waterspouts can be seen on the horizon. Interview with the Captain about amphibious exercises in Cyprus prior to joining the Task Group. Royal Marines take part in Lynx and Gazelle helicopter drills and take-offs. Sea King in zebra stripe camouflage flies over sea.
II. On shore: Chinook helicopter brings trailers underslung in nets. Ground-based gunnery exercises with 50 calibre heavy machine guns, including deployment. Amphibious landing in assault boats; camera in boat shows rendezvous with amphibious ship where crews disembark from boat. Landing Craft rendezvous with HMS Ocean; troops get off and fresh group embark.
