Summary: Scenes in the mountains of Afghanistan during Operation Snipe.
Description: Marines in temporary camp (camouflaged sheets); panorama showing bleak landscape of rock-strewn mountains with the occasional sparsely-foliaged tree. Chinook helicopter brings in supplies, taking two attempts to offload its underslung cargo; the rear of the helicopter then rests on the edge of a ridge as troops embark (the Chinook remains in flight). Scenes of caves. US Marine advisor gives a description (voiceover) of the cave interiors: some have the remains of fires inside, hinting at recent habitation. Small huts are also located nearby. Marines find a tortoise crawling through the campsite. A further discovery reveals ammunition boxes (damaged) and hidden cache of rusty shells.
