Summary: Compilation of night scenes showing Royal Marines activity in Iraq; all are shot using a CWS night sight.
Description: I. Royal Marine Commandos assemble in preparation for the move from Camp Viking. Chinook helicopters take off as part of the first wave into Iraq. (BFM 36)
II. Troops move up in Iraqi desert near Al-Faw. Fire blazes in the middle distance, being fought by Marines. Helicopters fly in with equipment. (BFM 39)
III. Mortars are set up and fired. WMIKs on road - distant firing shows as flashes of light on the horizon. Brigade Reconnaissance Force WMIKs fire volleys of probing fire; they advance. Camera shakes as camera-vehicle comes under fire (although it is not hit). (Part of this is Al-Faw - cf BFM 39 - but listed on label as Abu al-Khasib).
