Summary: Scenes at the Kurdish refugee camp in Kani Masi, Northern Iraq.
Description: I. River bank near Kani Masi. Boy with donkey. Refugees walk across recently erected girder bridge; others descend amountain. After crossing the bridge, the refugees get into a lorry (the one seen pulling up at the end of the previous tape).
II. Further refugee movements - lorries take refugees into Kani Masi from areas around the camp circuit (a total of eighteen lorries under Royal Marines direction were used for this task).
III. Chinook helicopter lands at Kani Masi and supplies are offloaded.
IV. Piece to camera by Major Bob Bogen (?), Ops Officer of 40 Commando, about the Marines' role in helping the 200,000 Kurdish refugees get home. Close-ups of Map.
V. Chinook helicopter hovering and taking off: it flies into the distance over the Kani Masi valley.
