Summary: Activities of X Company, 45 Commando Royal Marines, at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Nolay, south of Sangin.
Description: Further scenes of an X Company patrol with members of the Afghan National Army (ANA), part of Operation Ghartse Palang. The patrol passes through an almost-deserted village; ANA members speak with local man about the situation. Narrow alleyway is searched in an "Operation Barma" drill (a search for mines and improvised explosive devices). As the patrol progresses, further local men are interviewed and compounds are thoroughly searched with mine detectors. (Occasional interference to sound.) Explosives search dog is used. Discussion with local people about Taliban movements. OC of 4 Troop talks to camera about their progress: "on the whole it's been a good patrol".
