- Description: Patrol sets off: views from top cover as it visits ANP station: (British) captain speaks to camera about the joint British/Afghan patrol. Series of scenes during the patrol, which is attended by children and local people as it progresses through the streets of Lashkar Gah and through a bazaar. Various scenes of street life in the city; soldiers talk with local people. Periodic situation reports are delivered (to camera) by patrol leader. Patrol talks to "global security" guards (local privately- contracted men) and ANP members, and gather information about recent incidents. Patrol continues as the light begins to fade.
