  • Summary: Multi-National Brigade (Centre) search operations in Kosovo during the run-up to municipal elections in October 2000.
  • Description: Searches in the Glogovac area (continued from previous tape). Interview with Colonel Johansen of NORBAT (in English) giving the background to the search, which aims to discover illegal weapons. He notes the discovery of several weapons (as seen in the previous tape) and notes also that many Kosovans have been handing their weapons over voluntarily. The search continues; a Marine explains what he has been doing. Later, a large arms find (explosives, rocket-propelled grenades etc) is discovered and inventoried; the find is discussed by a Royal Artillery sergeant and two Marines, and also by Colonel Johansen, who acknowledges its significance. Interior of a workshop, where Sergeant Hope is building "HMS Seahorse", a large toy galleon out of surplus wood. It is due to be the centrepiece of a children's playground at the main hospital in Pristina.
