Description: On the parade ground at RMB Stonehouse, Royal Marine Commandos march on and take up their positions prior to the ceremony. At the head of the ceremony is First Sea Lord Sir Nigel Essenhigh, who presents the medals (carried by regimental sergeant major) to the individual Marines (a US Army soldier is also decorated). Royal Marines Band plays. After the presentation, Sir Nigel gives a speech (poor sound).
Press conference after the ceremony with Brigadier Robert Fry of 3 Commando and Sir Nigel Essenhigh; a question and answer session follows (topics include the rumoured setting up of a European Army).
