Description: LARC-V at the Amphibious Experimental Establishment: technician points out a series of brackets onto which the deflated stabilisation bags are attached. The bags are inflated from the air pump on a DUKW alongside; in all, four of the bags are attached and inflated (looking like large blue capsules on the sides of the vehicle at the waterline).
Equipped LARC on the beach at Instow and in the water, the bags providing stability. The LARC is seen driving on the beach, then back in the water again, this time contending with heavy swell, back to shore and out to sea again. Vehicle with full cargo load drives ashore onto shingle, and is seen in the water again.
