Summary: An experimental armoured version of the DUKW amphibious vehicle is seen in action on the beach at Saunton Sands.
Description: The DUKW - painted white, and with an encased cab - is seen static on the beach. With its protective panels in place and completely enclosed, it drives across the beach accompanied by a standard DUKW (some dirt in the camera lens can be seen on the screen in part of this sequence). Viewpoint from atop the nearby sand dunes - the DUKW approaches the dunes and stops. The side panels open, and a platoon of armed soldiers rapidly dismount and run up into the dune system, taking up positions amongs the marram grass. The DUKW is also seen in its amphibious role in the estuary of the River Taw.
