Description: An FV432 personnel carrier is driven from on board a Landing Craft Mechanised (Mark 9) onto a Mexeflote floating platform. Scenes below deck on board Sir Tristram: 3-ton Bedford lorry, towing a water tanker, drives down a ramp on board, then drives through the stern door onto a Mexeflote. Other lorries are moved onto the Mexeflote (four in all). The Mexeflote is later seen carrying a Chieftain tank and two FV432s - these drive on board Sir Tristram. Land Rover and light gun drive onto LCM(9). Various shots of FV432 driving onto a Ramped Powered Lighter (RPL), and of lorries moving onto Mexeflote. Land Rover and trailer drive into the water from LCM(9) and attempt to wade ashore, but have difficulties. Vehicles are seen driving off the LCM(9) and into the stern door of Sir Tristram.
