Summary: Two prototype LCM(9) Landing Craft (L3507 and L3508) participate in dry loading trials of Centurion tanks and other vehicles.
Description: Centurions drive on and off as L3508 settles on the beach. Children watch. (The official observers are civilians; note that the man in one of the turrets is wearing a jacket and tie.) The two LCMs are seen offshore, one carrying four lorries, the other two Centurion tanks. On the beach, Land Rovers are gathered, waiting to be loaded. L3508 (?) at sea, with tanks boarded; view from on board as the tanks are disembarked onto the beach. L3507 lowers its doors and tanks drive off into the water. Final shot of landing craft at sea.
