Description: (Amphibious Experimental Establishment caption at the beginning.) LCM (L711) with ramp door open; Land Rover and trailer enters the swell and drives through the water past buoys. At one point it receives assistance from a beach armoured recovery vehicle (BARV). The Land Rover tries to drive back on board but again needs assistance. Land Rover back in the water; it successfully drives back aboard. Further successful trials driving on and off (it has a very low profile in the water). BARV stands by to render further assistance if needed.
