Description: Scenes on board the LCM(9) where boards are laid on the floor to support the tank, The pillow tank, in a rolled up form, is then loaded aboard via crane. The tank, laid out at one end, is unrolled and flatteded on the floor of the hold. A nozzle attachment is added to allow for the connection of a hose, which then also fitted. Once the tank, in its flaccid state, is flattened out as a rectangular mat, a man walks across it to squeeze out any residual air. Filling commences. As the tank fills up, another man walks across the top with a large measuring stick which he inserts into an outlet in the top of the tank to act as a "dipstick". Soldiers and engineers adjust straps holdng the tank in place; two civilian engineers, smoking pipes, watch. Shots of electric pump. After the trial is successfully concluded, the outlet valve is opened and the contents (water only on this trial) are emptied into the harbour. Nozzles are dismantled, and the tank is flattened and rolled up by hand. The electric pump and the folded tank are lifted off by crane and stored on the bed of a lorry.
