Summary: Two sequences showing the loading and stowage of a light gun during amphibious operations.
Description: Light gun is towed onto LCM(9) L700 by truck, and then back onto the beach again; this is repeated several times.
The gun is pushed on to a smaller LCVP(2) landing craft (L128) by a lorry, which has difficulty gaining traction and becomes stuck in the sand. View on deck as the gun is manhandled aboard (it is a tight fit). A heavy tractor is used to tow it off the craft. A lorry is seen reversing onto the LCVP(2) and also towing a 105mm gun along the beach; a Royal Navy Land Rover is also seen.
