  • Description: I. The night before the final withdrawal: scenes shot with an image intensifier. Troops prepare their Bulldog and Warrior armoured vehicles. View from top cover as the vehicles make their way through Basra, checking the route of the convoy which is to follow. At a vulnerable point in the journey (where the risk of attack is greatest, soldiers check the area before moving on. The armoured vehicles continue through the streets, now joined by the large convoy opf trucks and transporters moving the other equipment from Basra Palace to the COB. II. Scenes in the early morning light: Bulldogs and other vehicles move talong a road outside the city limits. Close-ups of soldiers' faces; one is alseep, one is keeping watch on top cover. Convoy parked on desert road. The journey continues until the convoy reaches the gate of Basra Air Station, where the sign still shows its civilian name: "Basrah International Airport". III. Tank park inside the COB; Warrior armoured vehicles are parked up.
