Description: Warrior armoured vehicles at the roadside in Basra, driving on rough ground parallel to main road. Arrival at Iraqi Police permanent vehicle checkpoint; soldiers dismount and assist the police in their vehicle searches. (The soldiers are in berets with their red hackles prominently displayed.) Sign "CHECK POINT ALZUBEER"; (rather frayed) Iraqi flag flying. Searches continue. Close-up of Black Watch tartan tag, "Scotland" tattoo, IP badge. British army stills photographer at work, taking pictures of a car search. Further cars are searched. Black watch snipers keep watch from Snatch Land Rovers. (Heavy traffic on road.) Soldiers refresh themselves with water. Discussions with Iraqi police at "Police Check Point" sign in English and Arabic.
Shots from top cover as the patrol moves on into Basra, where foot patrol, supported by Warriors, is carried our. Close-up of Warrior driver (through viewing panel). Patrol moves on again and arrives at their base at the Basra Palace.
