Chinook takes off. 00:02:47 Group of British soldiers train armed TSU members on Basra street. Close-ups of soldiers and TSU members. 00:04:32 Puma helicopter flies in to pick up the section, landing on the roadside near the Shatt al-Arab. 00:04:55 Members of the TSU are given final briefing as they line up to board helicopter (not the Puma: this has now gone and the landing point is unoccupied). 00:05:55 Chinook flies in and lands at roadside; the section embark. Shots onboard the helicopter in flight, with the soldiers sat on the benches. Rear door gunner keeps watch. 00:10:00 Helicopter lands and troops disembark. 00:10:07 Aerial shots of Basra (bridges across the Shatt) and views through rear door as Chinook lands; door is lowered and second group of soldiers and TSU members disembark. Members of the TSU stop and search selected vehicles. 00:15:47 Briefing of TSU members by British soldier at roadside. 00:16:41 Street scenes: vehicles, group of women. Further cars are searched. Brief words with British soldier. Checkpoint continues; large piece of metal barrier is removed from the carriageway. Soldiers talk to local people. 00:21:44 Preparations to board Chinook; helicopter arrives and they board. Group are swiftly deployed top another location. 00:23:30 Personnel disembark and deploy a new checkpoint; TSU search more cars. 00:28:22 Brief interview with member of TSU followed by further checkpoint scenes. British soldiers look at map and discuss. 00:31:39 Chinook arrives and flies the section to the next location, where a further checkpoint is deployed; cars and people are searched. 00:37:19 British Land Rover patrol drives up and stops. 00:38:10 Chinook retrieves the VCP personnel who are then flown to a fourth location where they keep watch by a shallow waterway.
