Summary: Scenes from a search and arrest operation in the Basra region, shot using an image intensifier and normal light.
Description: View of convoy on the move at night (normal camera: very dark image).
Image intensifier footage shows Land Rovers approaching target house and British soldiers/ICDC/Iraqi Police preparing to go in. They enter the house and begin their search; they also detain suspects, who have their wrists bound with plastic restraints. Suspects are questioned. Rooms are searched, including a bedroom. Soldiers outside the house.
Normal light: views of target house in the early morning. Members of the security forces stand guard outside. Search takes place inside the compound; one of the residents assists. (British soldiers are also present.) Outhouses are searched. Prisoners are processed. British soldiers gather around their Land Rovers as detainees are led from the house to the vehicles, which drive away. Meanwhile, the search of the house continues. Interviews with British and Iraqi soldiers.
